11th October 2025 - Open day Autumn 2025
Our Early Years building houses our Foundation Stage 1 and 2 children providing Early Years education for 3,4 and 5 years olds. We pride ourselves on our Early Years ethos which is simple but powerful - high quality interactions and our inspirational environment are at the centre of all teaching and learning. Our Early Years team is led by Miss Nutbrown and Miss Hamilton.

Nursery - F1 - for 3 and 4 year olds
High Oakham Primary School Nursery offers 36 places for children aged 3 and 4 providing Early Years education and admissions to our Nursery are managed by the school office under our Admissions to F1 process. Our provision is open from 8.30am-3.30pm and we offer flexible hours to suit your needs. Further before and after school care is available using local childcare options which include childminders and TreeHouse - a private organisation run on our school site which opens from 7am and closes at 6pm.

Reception - F2 - when your child starts school
High Oakham Primary School has 60 places for Reception aged children within our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit. Admissions to our Foundation Stage 2 are through the Local Authority.
