  • High five day!

    Mon 21 Jan 2019

Today we have been thinking about the power of positivity and how noticing each other and giving each other a high five can boost our emotions and help drive our resilience. Today schools across Nottinghamshire have joined with King Edwin Primary and have been spreading a bit of positivity by giving a high five and High Oakham Primary have too - even when faced with times of difficulty and worries, we can find time to share a smile and a high five!

Well done everyone - great high fives!

  • School survey - please complete!

    Sun 13 Jan 2019
As the new headteacher at High Oakham, I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and listening to opinions and views of our school. As parents, carers and relatives of children attending our school, your voices are important - what you think of our school - what do you think we do best, what changes would you like to see?
Please complete this survey anonymously, it should only take 3 minutes, and your views will be taken into account when planning and shaping for the future and looking at what to explore further.
If you have an issue that you would like raising, please ensure that you contact the school directly.

    Many thanks,

    Mrs Stephanie Astle - Headteacher

  • New Facebook & Twitter sites

    Sun 13 Jan 2019

We are pleased to announce that our school has now got a Facebook and Twitter account which are linked to our school website's latest news page. Any information appearing on here will automatically appear on our social media sites.

These sites are to be used as information only and will not be used as a communication tool between parents/carers/relatives/visitors and school - use of the sites will be moderated and issues will be dealt with appropriately - as in real life - if you are not going to shout something on the street or in the playground, you would not write it online. By your child attending our school and completing a home school agreement, you are agreeing to adhere to all school's policies and procedures.

If you have any questions or issues, please contact school by email, phone or face to face. In terms of images or work shown on social media, the guidelines are the same - no names will be printed alongside photos and consent given for images used on website will continue. Remember, your consent can be changed or removed at any time.

Our Facebook page is High Oakham Primary School and our Twitter username is @highoakhamps - happy following!
